PITCH PERFECT: A Look Inside the Kankakee County CEO program’s Local Pitch Competition!

The Kankakee County CEO Local Pitch Competition helps students sharpen their business pitch, refine their ideas, and build confidence in public speaking, all while engaging in a little friendly competition! This event is a key step in preparing for the Trade Show, giving students the chance to practice, improve, and defend their ventures in front of judges.

Our panel of judges included Leo Jaramillo, John Keigher, Alicia Kleinert, Warren Ouwenga, and Nina Piolatto.

Kankakee High School students Karen Arenas Cintora, Jamon Barlow, Holden Hall, and Karol Santana participated in the pitch competition.

A big thank you to Gardant Management Solutions for hosting the event and for providing refreshments. We appreciate your hospitality! Thank you to the Economic Alliance of Kankakee County for sharing their space as our “green room” for today’s event!

AND THE WINNER IS….
Congratulations to Holden Hall for securing 1st place and to Karol Santana for taking 2nd place! Every student did an incredible job, and we celebrate all of their hard work and achievements today!
