CEO Success Story: James Bretzlaff’s Journey from Class to College

We love having CEO alumni share their insights with our students!
James Bretzlaff, Kankakee County CEO Class of '24 and 2024 MIE National Pitch Competition winner, presented to our team today about the importance of "buying into the CEO experience" during the second semester. As students dive into starting their personal businesses, James emphasized the need for initiative, motivation, and grit.

He also shared how the CEO program has been a game-changer for him, which he said helped him secure an internship with the Mayor's office last summer, navigate the college application process, and excel during his first semester at the University of Illinois.

Thank you, James, for taking time out of your winter break to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs!
