Alumni Giving Back

It's always inspiring to see recent graduates giving back to the next generation of entrepreneurs! Kankakee County CEO students had the pleasure of hearing from Sophia Gall, a sophomore at the University of Illinois Gies School of Business (Kankakee High School Class of ‘23), who shared insights on pursuing business and related fields at the university level.

We also welcomed back James Bretzlaff, a U of I freshman, and KHS and CEO alum, who spoke about opportunities in professional business fraternities, consulting groups, and more.

Both Sophia and James took time for one-on-one discussions with CEO students, offering feedback on pitch progress, business plans, and answering questions about college. CEO students gained valuable insights from James and Sophia as they shared what they wish they had known when they were in the same position.

A huge thank you to Sophia and James for spending part of their spring break with us! Your support means so much to the Kankakee County CEO class.
