PREPARING FOR BANKER DAY

On March 4, Kankakee County CEO students had the privilege of welcoming Kankakee County CEO Board Member Mike O'Brien to class for an insightful session ahead of Banker Day, which is coming up next week. Mike challenged students with thought-provoking questions and guided them through mock interviews, helping them sharpen their communication and confidence. His expertise provided invaluable preparation as they prepare to present their business plans.

WHAT IS BANKER DAY?
Banker Day is a pivotal experience where students pitch their business plans to local financial professionals from a variety of local banks, receiving feedback on their financial projections, viability, and strategy. It’s an opportunity to practice real-world conversations about funding and entrepreneurship.
