Kankakee County CEO students had the opportunity to visit the City of Kankakee Economic & Community Development Agency (ECDA) and meet with its dedicated team. During the visit, Leonel Jaramillo and Devyn Forquer delivered insightful presentations on two critical topics for aspiring entrepreneurs: writing a business plan and navigating taxes for small business owners.

The information shared was especially valuable, as the students are currently in the planning stages of creating business plans for their own independent ventures. The guidance provided by Leo and Devyn offered practical tools and strategies that will help shape their entrepreneurial journeys.

Many thanks to Leo, Devyn, and the entire Kankakee Economic and Community Development Agency team for their warm welcome and ongoing support of the Kankakee County CEO program. Experiences like these empower students with the knowledge and confidence needed to succeed in business and beyond.
