Kankakee County CEO students recently had the unique opportunity to visit the Economic Alliance of Kankakee County, where they learned fascinating facts like those above—and much more. During their visit, students gained valuable insights into the local economy from Economic Alliance President and CEO Tim Nugent, and Vice President of Business Development Angela Morrey.

Nugent and Morrey shared key information about the region’s economic landscape, ongoing development projects, and strategies for fostering business growth. Students engaged in discussions about the challenges and opportunities facing local businesses, deepening their understanding of how economic development impacts their community.
