CEO Student Achievements Spotlighted at Kankakee County Board Meeting

Highlights from the inaugural year of the Kankakee County CEO program were presented at this morning's Kankakee County Board meeting, which included showcasing a brief video highlighting student experiences and achievements within the program. James Bretzlaff, winner of the National CEO Program Pitch Competition, had the opportunity to deliver his pitch to the board for his business, Gopher Forest Games, which he created during the CEO program this school year. The board subsequently acknowledged his accomplishments with a proclamation. Bretzlaff, a senior in the CEO program from Kankakee High School, will attend University of Illinois in the Fall.

Thank you to Chairman Wheeler and the County Board for the Proclamation Honoring James Bretzlaff with the Kankakee County CEO Program for winning the 2024 MIE National Pitch Competition.
